Charly was born in Denver, Colorado under the hood of a 1968 Dodge Dart. Shortly after, he built a stronghold in his parents basement where he could pursue his comics, drawering and Irish Rock Hurling. At the ripe age of 106 he moved from his dusty hometown to Dover NJ where he would attend 3 harrowing years of art school at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon Art. After graduating, Charly landed a job with DC comics burning the lead with the bullpenners, until the fine folks at DC decided his art cube was better suited for cleaning supply storage. He has since worked freelance for the last 7 years doing lots and lots of comics, logos, and 839 published illustrations(And it will only take you 17 hours to view all of them here). He has worked for such wonderful companies as Disney, Scholastic, Nickelodeon and more. Charly lives in an apartment that is 13 square feet of palacial bliss in Queens, NY and he has a pet yogurt named "Kumquat". Along with his brother J. Hortense, he as created the award winning and sometimes talked about comedy group/show, Minimum Wage. He hopes you have a wing ding of a time, 23 Skidoo!!!
